CampusConfessions is built on anonymity. We have designed our systems to minimize data collection so your identity can never be linked to your confessions. This is built into our architecture — not just policy.
We collect only what's needed to operate:
We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or sale to third parties. Ever.
Our AI moderation system screens confession text before publishing. It processes submissions only for moderation purposes and does not store or profile users based on content.
We do not sell or share your data. We may disclose information only when required by Indian law, a valid court order, or to protect user safety. Even then, we can only share what we have — which is intentionally minimal.
We use essential cookies for session management and standard advertising tags (like Google AdSense) for non-invasive ads to keep the platform free. However, absolutely no personal identities or profile data are shared with ad providers. Your confessions remain 100% structurally anonymous.
This policy complies with India's IT Act 2000, IT Amendment Act 2008, IT Rules 2011, and aligns with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023.
